This builds strong feelings of love and safety. The lack of mother’s presence does the opposite. I got bits of this type of thing from my parents growing up in between regular school days (I remember watching a wood pecker and timing the period between visits to a tree or nest). What a way to make kids love school. I still love learning and researching and exploring new things.
